Upstate Carolina Medical Center has the county’s only
emergency department. Backed by the resources of a full-service
medical center, the emergency department can handle most
medical problems from cuts and sprains to chest pain and trauma.
Our ER staff is headed by a board-certified emergency care physician, and all of our nurses have advanced certification in life support, trauma, and pediatric nursing.
