Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Imaging DepartmentServices

MRI is a non-invasive test that uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to produce pictures.  Usually there is no prep for these procedures, but refer to the One-Dall Scheduling form for detailed information regarding your test.

Your test will take up 45-60 minutes depending on the exam.  Wear comfortable clothes without metal or zippers.  Exams performed include, but are not limited to, chest, pelvis, extremities, joint imaging, spine and much more.

Some conditions may prevent you from having an MRI.  If you have any of the following, please tell your doctor or MRI technologist:

 

  • Cardiac Pacemaker    
  • Implantable Cardioverter Defibrilator (ICD)
  • Pregnancy
  • Aneurysm Clips (magnetic)
  • Prosthesis within the body
  • Insulin Pumps
  • Claustrophobia
