Phone Calls: Spokesperson and HIPAA
For reasons of patient privacy (HIPAA) and the coordination of patient care, please have a designated person to communicate your family member’s healthcare needs and care with. We will ask you for a password which must be used before any information can be given out over the phone. The spokesperson will be the individual with whom the nursing staff will communicate information during your family member's stay. The password will be agreed upon at the time of the patient’s admission to the hospital.

Visitation
The visiting hours are a time to allow loved ones to visit through out the day and evening. We ask that you follow these times and also if you are asked to leave during hours or prevented from visiting during designated times that you understand it is for the benefit of your loved one. Members of our healthcare team such as physicians, physical therapists, nurses, radiology and other disciplines may need to perform a procedure. If this occurs, the nurse shall communicate to you when you may resume visitation. Like you, we desire for your loved one to receive the best of care and are committed to ensuring we do so. The following hours are posted on the door adjacent to the waiting room. Visitors are limited to 2 immediate family members. For health reasons, no children under the age of 12 should visit.
